Responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization's computer network, hardware, software, communications and providing technical assistance to company personnel.
  • Converted a Novell Network to a Microsoft Windows 2000 Network to support 50 plus users.
    Secured network by implementing a firewall.
    Installed and implemented remote network connectivity using a Citrix thin client server.

  • Installed and configured MAS 200.
        Main modules set up:
      Library Master - Users, user groups, and security settings.
      General Ledger - Modified the old accounting general ledger numbering system to be up-to-date and efficient.
      Accounts Receivable - Prepared the invoicing printing for automation.
      Accounts Payable - Prepared the automation of check printing, and up dating vendor accounts.
      Payroll - Set up the procedure for direct deposit.

  • Increased employee communication by building a web based (Linux & PHP) discussion forum for ideas to be exchanged.
    Wrote a secure CGI enabling website based credit card transactions.
    Trained employees on various software by creating online tutorials.
    Setup a distance training program that allowed the Sales Manager to hold national sales meetings from any location.
    Wrote scripts to automatically download databases from chambers of commerce around the USA.

  • Wrote several Microsoft Excel macros to streamline commissions, payroll, and other administrative procedures.
    Reduced the needed man hours to complete payroll and commissions reports for sales force from several hours to less than thirty minutes.
    Automated analyzing of sales trends broken down by sales person and by market.

  • Acted as liaison for company with vendors.
    Main contact for vendors of the PBX and phone systems, copiers and network printers, and all other technical services outsourced by company.
    Negotiated contracts with outsourced service providers.
